Colosure, the early colon cancer screening test, will be discontinued on November 15th 2011. Lab Corp, which holds the patent for this test, has decided to discontinue the test because of FDA hurdles. After November 15th, I would recommend the previous mandates for early colon cancer detection, including stool blood detection tests (not nearly as accurate as the Colosure) and/or colonoscopy.
If you wish to do the Colosure, you many want to call the office before coming over, to make sure we have a test kit on hand. Read More
